Server Upgrade Migration - 5/21 ~ 5/22

Rappelz Players!

Starting at 8PM Server Time (PDT) on May 21st, Rappelz and the gPotato Game Portal will be performing major hardware maintenance. This maintenance is expected to last about 12 hours.

During this period you will be unable to access the game, website, or forums.

But don’t worry! We will be on the official Rappelz Facebook keeping you up to date with where we are in the process. During this update we will also be running fun events and activities through our Facebook page where you will be able to win Stamina Savers, Animal Crackers, Belt Upgrade Kits, and other fantastic Rappelz goodies.

Why are we having this maintenance?

It’s time for an upgrade~! We’re moving Rappelz to faster and more powerful servers that will be centrally located to our player base. This transition will come with increased security features, improved back-up and failover capabilities, more powerful hardware, and access to more bandwidth for our systems. This also means that you should experience lower latency which means less lag, a smoother playing experience, and less disconnects. These updates also allow us to ensure that we have less downtime and shorter maintenances, maximizing the time you can enjoy the game!

Cheesy : Rohan used to be cool, but I just browsed through the forums, and it looks like the publisher is crap now. PW is pretty fun, but last I played it, it was nearly impossible to get past level 20 without spending money in the cash shop. I just made a post in Krazie's thread about games I've played in the last year or so and what I thought of them.
Fairy : well i was kinda thinking between Rohan and a few others so far i installed rohan, btw you dont have to completely drop rappelz but as for me being k very close friend and aka my pkn buddy the game wouldnt be the same for me.... i'm not deleting my acc and possibly logging in here and there but not gonna do much with my main another one i WOULD like to try is pw if it's no part or gpots ofc so yeah
Cheesy : Oh, and LotR Online just went free - to - play, so that's another option. I heard it was pretty good, but I didn't like the pay structure much (have to buy quest packs past lvl 20, etc) and the downloader didn't agree with my computer, so I haven't tried it yet.
Cheesy : Possibly. Depends on the game. I've invested a fair amount of money in Rappelz, so I'm understandably a little reluctant to leave. What game were you thinking of? I would suggest Aika, but that's another GPot game, and you probably don't want to play any more of their games. RoM is pretty good, PW is decent, Sword of the New World is pretty cool.
